Yesterday was another intense day. We woke up and worked until the evening when Lilijana from Obalne Galerije (Slovenian Coastal Galleries) came to visit and took us to a great evening dinner. We finally had a proper meal since we didn’t have much time to cook during our last couple of days of constant work. The gallery (Slovenian Exposition Center) became a big art studio since we moved in and started to set up the exhibition.
First floor is still in a big mess, but Noemi is making furniture from the cardboard and today it looks a lot more like a “bathroom” (the photo was taken yesterday so the furniture is still missing in the photo).
Valerie’s digital coffee waiting on the “kitchen” table.
A lot of curious “creatures” are constantly spying us through the big glass window.
Everyday walk to the shop and bakery gives a chance to find beautiful Venetian details.
Tomaž’s super 8mm projector is ready to roll.
A view from Tomaž’s room shows a glimpse of a “Girl’s bedroom” which is still in a working process.
Valerie is constantly filming and taking photos so this is a polaroid photo of her “in action” (behind the camera) by Tomaž.
Breakfast to give us energy.
Urša making a quick lunch.
Štef focusing on Valerie’s videos.
Valerie’s “digital window” is already giving us the views from Paris.
Night right with vaporetto – bus on water.
Houses by the main road.
Pleasant dinner with Lilijana and her husband in a great local restaurant, serving local foods.
Valerie made a selfie with Pino, the guarding dog of the gallery.
Polaroid photos by Tomaž – everyday moments from our stay in Venice.
Urša setting up the beamers.
Štef bonding with Pino.
A lot of equipment lying everywhere. Can you find Pino (the dog) and his “installation”?
Noemi’s TV corner in progress.
Pila writing HTML code on a sheet.
Guard dog is tired.
So today we are continuing our work and we are planning to finish until the late evening. Tomorrow is the opening and we are looking forward to it! Here is also a Facebook event if you want to attend digital invitation: LINK
See you in Venice!
